Vancouver, BC – May 1, 2007 – When Dany F. realized that approximately half a pound of pesticides and other harmful material were expelled into the environment for every single cotton t-shirt she was buying, she knew it was time for a change. Aware of the need for change, Shoo-foo and its first product line was created.
Bamboo textiles were the perfect alternative to cotton because their production results in the lowest eco-footprint of all known textiles and yet it is sexy, soft and comfortable.
To fully take advantage of the natural properties of bamboo Shoo-foo created its line of towels. The inherent qualities of bamboo textile make it the perfect material for towels: it is as soft as cashmere, 400% more absorbent than cotton, breathable, antibacterial and hypoallergenic.
